2026 RMFHL Playoffs
Below are the playoff matchups per division. These will be updated as final seeds are determined and playoff series are completed.
U11 A
U11 B
U13 A
Medicine Hat is hosting U13 A Provincials. In the event Medicine Hat makes it to the Championship Final, they will represent the RMFHL as the host and their opponent as the RMFHL Winner, regardless of the playoff outcome. No wild cards were awarded to the RMFHL.
U13 B
No wild cards were awarded to the RMFHL in the U13 B Provincials. The U13 B Champion will represent the RMFHL at the Provincial Championships, March 19 -22 in Vermilion.
U15 A
One wild card was awarded to the RMFHL in the U15 A Provincials. The two teams that qualify for the U15 A Champion will represent the RMFHL at the Provincial Championships, March 26 -29 in Calgary.
U15 B
After the conclusion of the second weekend, the remaining four teams were re-seeded based on the overall point totals in the regular season. Cochrane was awarded the 1st seed with 31 points, 3C's the 2nd seed with 27 points, Prairie Thunder the 3rd seed with 17 points and Stettler the 4th seed with 13 points. These series will be a two game - total points format. The winners of each series will advance to the U15 B Championship Final.
Olds is hosting U15 B Provincials March 26-29. The team that wins the U15 B Championship will represent the RMFHL at the U15 B Provincials. No wild cards were awarded to the RMFHL.
The U15 B North and South Division Championships will be held after the completion of the U15 B Championships and before the U15 B Provincials. These series will need to be completed in one weekend and a banner will be awarded to each series winner.
For the purposes of the North and South Division Finals, the competing teams will keep the original seeds based on the standings in their respective divisions.
U15 C
Hockey Alberta does not have a Provincial Championship in U15 C at this time.
U18 A
No wild cards were awarded to the RMFHL in the U18 A Provincials.
The U18 A Champion will represent the RMFHL at the Provincial Championships, March 19 - 22 in Irma.
